Unfortunately, in 2021, there are currently several different incompatible plug types, though there is a heavy trend to focus on CCS. Some locations only handle Type 2 or Tesla’s proprietary version, other offer combinations of CCS, Type 2 or CHAdeMO.
Then there are the multitude of networks each with their own App or card. However Contactless cards are slowly being adopted.
However, for those with a driveway, most charging is likely to be done at home.
