A used, Second hand, car will have much less Range capability than a new one, even when it was new, as Batteries have been improving significantly. 24 and 30 kWh batteries are no longer used in new cars, 64kWh being pretty standard now.
You’ll need to determine the Range you actually require, this primarily depends on how many long journeys you expect make per year in this vehicle.
State of Health
The key point to look for is not the Mileage, but the battery State of Health (SoH). Battery degradation is very much slower than might be anticipated.
Specialists, not Generalists
We recommend consulting a Used Electric car specialist rather than one who occasionally has a used car for sale.
