Are you actually asking the right question?

If you have a charging point at home then you should expect the vehicle to be charged ready for leaving home each day. Thus a much lower range will suffice.

How far do you drive without a break? Is it really over 400 miles?

How often do you make such long journeys anyway?

Yes an Electric vehicle does take longer to charge than a diesel or petrol vehicle takes to fill-up, but you don’t stand next to it the whole time. In fact you could be having a coffee or lunch and it’s app will let you know when  it’s charged.

In conclusion, consider what range you really need if you’re ready charged from home every day.
